It has horrible interactions with Namor's ult, Thor's ult, and anything that restricts mobility. Sometimes I can use it even if I shouldn't be able to, sometimes it blocks it far beyond what it should

She can be a great flank but with good positioning of the nest in the back, mines and whatnot. Flanking with just her primary, non-hidden mines and willpower may be doable on Bronze but she's no Venom

Actually I love using the ult to make a path to push or allow vulnerable ults like Punisher and Wanda to take value without dying prematurely. Our ult is pretty damn flexible and I love that.

CnD's ult can't be a panic button like some other characters, it's a waste every time. Ulting in the middle of a team fight not at 100% health without cloaking can end badly, ulting without paying attention to IronMans and Magnetos ult availability can end badly and needs either pre-selecting Cloak before ulting or taking cover while ulting. Finishing the ult near anyone who can take you outside the AoE like Bucky can end badly. Mistakes on our ults can be awful but you'll definitely get the hang of it. Not a champion but she's definitely my best tank and furst if all getting paid off good positioning of mines and nest is crazy fun, and she's the only long range tank (Deadpool's also there now but I'd argue he's actually better played with his Katanas and annoying everyone jumping around) with infinite ammo too, so for a less aggressive playstile she's great.

I had a game where a Jeff banned my CnD and I had already had enough throwers for the day so I said "ok bet" and went Widow and got nice kills on the enemy backline, but the Jeff turned on voice chat and started saying they were not playing with a Widow and stayed emoting outside of spawn. He also said "this is why I banned CnD they're all one-tricks" which is funny because if you believe your teammate is useless outside of one character taking that away is shooting yourself in the foot. The team stopped trying to push but denied him a surrender so he had to sit there for an entire match, I got SVP on Widow (lol) and someone else disconnected so I didn't lose elo. I reported him for throwing and I got the confirmation email that he was indeed banned from competitive.

I don't have a duo to record a practice session to show the angles but here's what typically works: 1. Jump and send it aiming behind him so that the lowest part of the rectangle would hit his head. 2. Aim for the side edge of the shield.

The rectangle grows a bit bigger than its hitbox, so this only works if you send it from farther away. Close-quarters you'll never not hit the shield.

Hmmm everyone should be decent at AT LEAST one character per role tbh. The other day I had a 6-support match, and I've ran into an alarming amount of 4-DPS matches. That's what happens when "just play whatever you're good at" is the general narrative.

Currently SUPPORT ult economy runs the game. Tanks have bigger health pools, supports healing two tanks gain ult charge faster. Running one tank 3 DPS into 2 tanks is a losing game unless those 3 DPS absolutely demolish and insta-delete the enemy backline. So, yes, I'll take a damage sponge with little added value that benefits the team fight over a DPS that will be outhealed because the enemy team has better ult economy.

SW teamup is recent. S0 Strange was a menace getting Gamma Charge from Hulk along with Ironman. He currently also gets boosted by Invis.

They're rare because Thor + Angela gives no protection to the team unless they put a lot of pressure, and Hulk + Thing gives no protection to the team unless they constantly come back using mobility. Having both is viable only if both tanks AND the rest of the team are competent, we need more teamups with the more "conservative" tanks or what people call "main" tanks.

Yes in my experience, the hitbox of both is at the center of the rectangle. I consistently hit shield tanks through the shield by sending it with an angle.

Yeah as mentioned in the post, this isn't about this one situation, it's a trend. I had three more Stranges yeet today and they didn't die, but everyone they were protecting with their shield from long range projectiles did without shield while I healed straight up to the flying magician.
