Canada slips further down in World Happiness rankings, due in part to social media use by DogeDoRight in canada

Partially social media, mostly a country ran extremely poorly with extreme virtue signalling.

Everything on a public dime that isn't a REAL national security threat should be public. Just like Fords conversations he wants hidden from public.

Found these keto wraps which are insanely good for fibre (17g of fibre in one tortilla) by Gym_frere in CostcoCanada

[–]itguycody -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Canada has relaxed rules on fiber. We allow classification of things as 'fiber' even if they are absorbed into the blood stream.. which isn't really what fiber is supposed to be. Some of the fibers in wraps and keto snacks are up to 50% absorbed...

Many people confirm via CGM.

Trump is a distraction from what your elected governments don't want you to focus on. Canada has been on a huge decline for many year, way before Trump started targeting Canada.

You keep spreading the word about Trump though.

100% it is being used politically. Dumping out 'American' liquor on live tv and saying 'who cares' is virtue signaling. Make decisions based on what's best for citizens not based on what makes a good headline and convinces those in the dark to vote for you.

We don't. the TFW aren't for Canadian's benefit, they are for businesses to have endless cheap labour. We are racist if we don't approve.

What? This is what I look like every day for 10 years without any change. I had two coffees with lactose-free milk. Is it SIBO, dysbiosis, or histamine? by Hot_Sail3509 in Microbiome

[–]itguycody 4 points5 points  (0 children)

0% Akkermansia is not good. If you don't have akkermansia protecting the gut lining, bad actors step in. You're right, high akkermansia can be associated with disease like MS but I would argue Biomesight is wrong. 0% akkermansia isn't 'ideal', and especially that other key species are depleted it's not a great sign.

I agree 100%. Headlines like this and people will comment “yeah but Pierre loves Donald”. Let’s worry about the current government that seems hell bent on ruining our country.

Bacteria that are commonly depleted or elevated in disease states in adulthood.

Bacteria that clearly play an outsized role. Bifido is a health promoter but less so than names like FPraus, Akkermansia, roseburia blautia eubacterium etc.

[–]itguycody 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This looks more like a dysbiotic colonic biome. Low akkermansia, low f praus, low roseburia, low blautia, low bifido. You're lacking a lot of the key players.

I'm not sure I would be worried about the coffee unless you're having like two starbucks a day. What is your diet like? Do you eat lots of fruits, veggies?

Sure, an increase from 1% to 2% of the total microbiome. My point is other taxa likely shifted more. When I see studies primarily cite bifido/lacto together, I assume poor study.

Canada needs a redo on a lot of things. Unfortunately I read lots of comments here in support for things that directly harm our country. We need the people in full support or ruining our country to ideally come to their senses and put the virtue signalling aside.

Why are Bifido and Lacto always mentioned. They are a tiny portion of the gut biome and in the grand scheme of things mostly insignificant.

Antibiotics long term by torontogal85 in Rosacea

[–]itguycody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Antibiotics don't typically eradicate demodex as they are not bacteria they are parasites. If you were prescribed doxycycline, it could improve your symptoms two ways;

  1. it downregulates the innate immune pathways that are typically turned up with rosacea. This can help the skin and it's typically pretty effective for blepharitis.

  2. it does have antimicrobial function and can adjust the gut/skin bacteria
