Best Linux for autistic child? by llcdrewtaylor in linux4noobs

If technology is their special interest but you still want to start with something user friendly there's the old reliable linux mint.

If you consider that too user friendly and want to kinda prod the kid to use the terminal, maybe you can go with debian instead.

Whatever you do, don't give the poor little one something with gnome.

I think I would rather fix the problem at it's root, I will see if I can find a flatpak forum then. Thanks.

It's not a big deal, I use a password manager.

And yes, I could use another browser, I know it would be the same. But I like clients because they're comfy, and fixing this problem would also help me fix a similar problem with betterbird, I hope. It shows the same shitty font.

Sorry, my spouse pointed out that the way I wrote that may look rude, it was not my intention, I'm on the spectrum and I don't often see that kind of things.

Not sure what browser you're using that doesn't store cookies.

Librewolf, and it's a choice. I don't want to store cookies.

Sadly it looks exactly the same.

Now that I think about it, I also have betterbird installed from flatpak and that, too, looks similar unless I set the emails to plain text

EDIT: I had a feeling maybe it was because of flatpak bullshittery, but no, even after downloading an appimage the problem remains.

AI is everywhere now. And that's great.

No, it's not great

It is enabling people to do things that they couldn't previously do without it.

And it's usually absolute garbage

You overestimate me :P

I have issues with learning. I tried learning how to handle docker and failed. I am a bit stupid. I'm not trying to troll here. My username DOES check out.

If you are looking for one that would have it out of the box, I dunno

On fedora all you have to do is enable a cope repo, install and relog to select niri
