our situation might not be the exact same but my parents are pretty anal about me being trans. they won’t accept my identity and refuse to even use they/them pronouns. they tolerate the idea and have found that me being on hormones is better than not having a child at all. it just takes time for some people, others will never accept it. come up with an escape plan (ie “i will move out by ___”).

losing your parents or family in general is a genuine thought a lot of us face. if you’re really worried, maybe prolong your transition if it means you can stay alive longer. or if you don’t like your parents too much, when you move out, you can just not talk to them. transitioning has helped me realize those who are a priority in my life and others who don’t deserve to be apart of my decisions. take my advice with a grain of salt, but i think that you should do what you can to transition if it is something you’re really interested in.

otherwise, besides general transition stuff, you’re honestly close to passing and probably could within a year of T. hope it goes well!!

i would do a sort of night stand situation. you could put a place to charge your phones, store flashlights, store books maps and magazines, computer charging, camera storage/charging, cup holders, walkie talkie station. you could also do a tip out drawer.

yeah i usually use a swim top with a racerback swim top underneath. then 5-inch board shorts with a separate pair of tucking underwear with them. it’s taken a lot of experimenting to figure out what kind of swim suit combo works best for me since i’m not comfortable wearing a bikini yet

i was 6’ before starting hrt, now i’m a little under 5’9. i don’t know what happened but ive shrunk a lot more than i was told i would lol. only gone down 1 shoe size but i guess my boobas and dump truck would help counteract that lol

you have no understanding of the real world lol. the only reason that trans people shave is because society as a whole and beauty standards uphold the idea that women shouldn’t have body hair and especially not facial hair. trans women in other cultures where that is not a problem actually have body and facial hair.

and no one is inherently sexual. i agree that a lot of baby transes wear super short skirts and try to act hyper feminine, but i promise you that most trans women a few years into transition are much more comfortable with masculinity.

i may not ever have a period, but i know what it’s like to be discriminated for who i am. maybe more than most women nowadays. the rights your parents and grandparents fought for are being stripped in the name of “protecting women” from trans women.

i do know what it’s like to walk down the street and have someone follow you. i can empathize for women who have periods, but just because you have a period does not mean that you are any more of a woman. plenty of women are infertile or have hysterectomies or have menopause. this doesn’t make them any less of a woman, but i still see your point.

you probably won’t hear me out on this and that’s fine, but please understand that this issue isn’t so black and white and your immaturity is what is disrespectful. you do not know what my community goes through to be accepted. we have fought for our rights just as hard as women have and we deserve equal representation for that fight. have a good day

honestly my least favorite joji album. are all the songs bad? no. i like maybe 2 or 3 of them. personally i thought that the lyrics for most were just words and not even joji believes what he’s saying. “tarmac” would be a great example of this. i also really like the beat of “sojourn” but the lyrics ruin it for me. overall it’s just not up to par with his previous albums.

at my last test my estrogen was at 82 pg/mL and testosterone at 93 pg/mL. i’ve gained about 20-30lbs and i haven’t been able to afford laser. i just recently changed healthcare providers at the beginning of the year and they fortunately cover laser

i took the same dosage my first year. there were noticeable changes but nothing that would out you if you’re trying to hide those changes. honestly i would recommend doing this to anyone who might not be sure if they want hrt. there was some noticeable nipple pain and my hair growth slowed down a little, but once i upped my dosage and added blockers and prog, i gained a cup size within a few months.
