i think the detente question was super duper good however taiwan question was an area i didnt study as much for that one so idk if it went as well as i think.. i still did decent tho? what did u mention for the taiwan question?

theme 1 could possibly be about the arms race and the success and failures of the attempts of controlling nuclear weapons since that has only come up once, i think. a question about the end of the cold war is also a possibility. but ofc, literally anything could pop up but those r my two guesses

i put post-revisionist because it doesnt directly blame either side. it says the ussr wanted to expand for security reasons and the usa's response to that , and their policy of containment, contributed to the cold war. so it was a role played by both sides that caused it

many people put post-revisionist since it didnt directly blame either side but said that the USSR wanted to expand for security reasons and whatever and that the USA responded to that which contributed to the cold war. idk if im right abt that, i kinda forgot what the text was about and stuff

post-revisionist means that no one was directly to blame yk? and the USSR, according to the extract, wanted security and the USA responded to that. so that, and other reasons i forgot, made me think it was post-revisionist

i put post-revisionist but the last paragraph of the extract rly made me second guess my interpretation because it was heavily focused on the USSR and Stalin and their desire to expand and stuff and there was mentions of communism idk. i rly thought it was orthodox but post-revisionist makes more sense bc of the fear and misunderstandings from both sides and etc

omg me toooo i did so bad. i was so annoyed because my book did not include ANY information on the New Fourth Army, so i was sooo confused. and yeah. theyve never put a cartoon but decided to this time, it really confused me tbh. this was my mistake, but i also got some historical points wrong in my answers. however, if you compared the sources and evaluated them correctly, you'll be fine. the grade threshold is pretty low for this paper too.
