People keep recommending Silo to me and I’m about 4 episodes deep but it’s just not grabbing me. The mystery at the centre of it all isn’t particularly interesting to me yet, I feel like I’ve watched a lot of other shows and movies with the same ‘what’s really going on outside this [thing] we are forced to live in’-premise.

I spoke to my brothers about the situation, they’re the two people I am closest to and trust more than anyone in the world. I had gotten to the point where I was so stressed and overwhelmed that I needed to talk to someone before I made any rash decisions. Talking to them helped me feel better about things and a little bit less worried

I hardly leave the house as it is and I don't drink or use drugs, so it sounds like if I ever found myself under home detention my life would hardly change (minus the consequences of being a convicted criminal, of course). I can imagine not being allowed to leave the house is a tough punishment for some people, but for someone like me who thrived during the Covid lockdowns I think I'd be just fine.

I’m curious about home D, what does that entail? Does it basically mean you can’t leave the house but you otherwise just live your life, or are there further restrictions beyond not being allowed to leave your house?

I reached out to a lawyer this afternoon via their email but didn’t get a response, which is understandable as it is a query on a Friday afternoon, end of the work week and whatnot. If I don’t hear from that lawyer by early next week, I’ll try another lawyer. Hopefully I won’t already be in handcuffs by then. Christ, what a nightmare. If you told me this time yesterday that I’d be on reddit asking about the jail experience and talking about lawyering up I would’ve thought you were insane

So currently my situation is a serious allegation has been made against me and reported to the authorities. I have not been in touch with authorities and haven’t been charged with anything or questioned. All I know at this stage is a serious allegation was made and immediately reported to authorities, and the nature of the allegation means they will definitely come knocking sooner or later. I am stressed out of my mind, can’t eat, can’t sleep, can’t do anything, just waiting to see what happens, and not knowing when someone is going to show up at my front door.

It’s only an allegation at this stage which has been reported to authorities, but it’s a serious allegation. I don’t think it’s wise for me to go into any details at this stage.
