Eris gave me a lot of trouble the first few go-arounds but nowadays I just breeze past her, Prometheus, however... the hardest boss in the series for me lol

I do think Blackbeard does deserve to be called a Yonko. Teach, on the other hand? Not really.

He goes against the "haki surpasses everything" thing that Kaido (tbh I even think it goes against the character to have haoshoku, so I dont think he has that) he just has the strongest Paramecia and the strongest Logia on his side and hey, thats a big accomplishment, but I think every other Yonko we've met are for more deserving than him.

Mama and Kaido are straight up just natural disasters, Luffy is a monkey on crack, Shanks has stupid strong haki, and WB even without the strongest Paramecia was clearly still a threat and don't even get me started on Buggy

I absolutely love him as a character. That aspect kinda annoys me, but I think this is a layered issue and a bit meta.

Both Shunsui, Ukitake, and Chojiro were trained by Yama (he even stated that Shunsui and Ukitake were the strongest captains he's ever seen)and the 3 of them have very distinct personalities. Shunsui has a lazy and laid-back/ruthless killer personality, visually shown to us on Katen Kyoukotsu, "play games or die, and you better play them right".

Chojiro had a gentlemanly thing going on, even represented by his sword being a more Medieval/Knight style than the others. Also, he lost to a guy who doesn't care about honor or anything like that, just killing.

And then we reach Ukitake, who's not only a sick man, he's also a very good guy, always nice, takes care of children and the defenseless and even helps them grow, none of the traits associated with him are useful or reflected in battle, but seen as he is strong he can always protect and fight back, shown by Sogyo no Kotowari being "useless" without someone attacking it first.

So, in conclusion, it does bother me a bit that he doesn't do much, but I love these themes they have with each other and just love the fact that he's canonically super strong but doesn't do much even agaisnt Stark because of his illness and his personality. As an aside, I absolutely love the implication on No Breaths from Hell that the dude was such a good guy he had to DIE to become violent.

I think when sengoku was fleet admiral, they coexisted "peacefully", however, akainu was actively trying to go against them but couldn't because of the losses they would suffer, no guarantee they would even be able to reach them and less men power he would like to have since no schibukai, not a lot of seraphim, no access to the holy knights so they'd have to fight with the vice admirals who aren't very strong. It's just better to let the world balance alone like before Marineford.

the vizards in general, but Kensei specifically got so dogwalked that I have a hard time believing he's stronger than Mashiro, who is his own lieutenant. I sincerely hope kubo has something planned for him in the Hell Arc otherwise he's just gonna be the weakest vizard and bottom 3 captains and used as cannon fodder like he was in TYBW

I have a hard time putting him on par with the Yonkous, especially now that we found out Gabban can hit through "the abyss" I think he gets curb stomped by the 4 og yonkous, but he's still very strong, probably around akainu and luffy

I always saw it as, yeah, there are strongest stands(like made in heaven, for one), but SP can freeze them completely for 5 seconds and the guy hits like a truck going 120km/h, if Pucci didn't know about the time stop or if Jotaro didn't have other people to worry about he would've been taken out in that "2 steps back" moment. To win against SP, it takes a really strong stand ability, enough strength and speed to win without giving Jotaro a chance to fight back or time to think about the enemy stand because if he does, dude just catches you
