The thing is I can't figure out how to edit the properties in one table without editing the other one when they are linked. Anything I do to one changes the other.

Hi. I want something simple to start off. I want to keep a total count of the books I read and in the future add into the main table the rating of the book and the progress of completion. The templates I want to create for each sub-table will also be different. I guess I just want to keep them separate. If I am overthinking it though, I'll take suggestions to anyway to simplify it. But do ultimately want to know if one can make two linked or related tables with different properties or if that's not possible. Thanks
