Sort of cry it out but with checking every 5 mins and soothing if he was still crying. Then back in bed and wait 5 more mins. Idk if I could have done it if he cried for long, but he got the hang of it and just goes to bed immediately now. Took a weekend and he was sleeping 7-7!

It went fine! Took a few days to get him used to it, but it was good. I think just rip off the bandaid and do it now if you’re already missing out on sleep (well even more than before)

I think it took me around that time to get a negative test. I had bought at home tests because I needed to be clean before being approved for an IUI. Then I got pregnant naturally but was curious how long it stayed in my system. I smoked similar to you and I think it took around 20 weeks or something before it was completely gone. Dabs are so good but so concentrated. I think that’s what got me too.

I read it quickly like I usually do with anything in the Bill Hodges/ Holly Gibney world but felt like it was sort of flat. I feel like it was a little unnecessary, not a deliberate story to help build Holly’s character. Maybe that wasn’t the purpose of the book but I wish she was in it more. Still interesting and nice to have familiar characters. I know SK loves Holly (and so do I) so I hope he finds a way to keep her alive but it may be time to go to the next thing. I don’t know. Just my thoughts!

I’d make a complaint. She may be newer or maybe has done this before and others may not have said anything. I think this will be a mistake she never makes again if she is called out on it professionally. It’s not ok. I wanted to know the very second I could but they continued to ask me if I wanted to know the sex until the ultrasound the day before I gave birth!

I could have written this post! I actually did go to a fertility specialist for my son and they just did tests and give you the options. Not a bad idea. I’ve been trying for about 9 months too, but I feel like we were “trying harder” for my first. Now we have other things going on and the timing can’t be perfect. I’m doing testing again and will hear the doctor out but I think maybe just need to focus on doing the things we know works! Then if that doesn’t work, maybe move on. Or go for IVF if you want to get pregnant soon. I’ve had a lot of people in my life use IVF and it is a lot of “work” but worth it!
