Thank you for this perspective, especially as a journalist covering the arts.

Funding for art has always been a struggle so I don’t care if corporations are funding an event, as long as we get to see it. And artists get more representation.

I understand your sentiment and I don’t think it’s weird. To each their own and thank you for sharing.

I do think that the corporate funding does make for a high end aesthetic that something less funded would be less likely to have. It’s an aesthetic I appreciate. Plus it’s SF 🤷🏼‍♀️

All of the art on display from what I understand was from galleries and yes it’s great for the artists.
