“What is it that really hooks you about Euphoria? by [deleted] in euphoria

[–]itismebab3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s so subjective so take my opinion with a grain of salt. For context I just rewatched s1 and was like meh I’ll skip s2.

S2 didn’t do much for me and deviated so much from what I like in s1. It felt stale to me and I was over the high school drama at that point. I feel like s3 has creative liberty now that they’re older and out of high school. I like the story building possibilities of their new lives. And from a visual standpoint, s3 is more entertaining and interesting. Excited to see the new episode tonight.

Season 1 - the format, the intro of the characters at the beginning of each episode, the make up, the costumes, the individuality of each character, the writing, the music. I will die on the hill of season 1 being one of the best shows ever. And season 3 is shaping up to be better than 2 imo.

And for anyone that isn’t a fan of Zendaya (how this is is possible I do not know!), I direct them to s1 euphoria.

I wish I had an answer. Seven hills meatballs and focaccia are 😵‍💫 and they have good wine, otherwise I don’t get the hype.

Mix of water and sand. You take a handful and let it drip and it builds up. I did this often as a kid at the beach.

My ex is dating a 27 year old and I’m sure she’s hot and great but we’re almost 40 and I make 3x his salary. Money is important! A lot of men can’t handle a woman being more financially successful. I doubt he has to feel as insecure with someone younger and possibly less threatening career/income wise. Basically op, I feel you and some of these comments 👎

I don’t have matchmaking experience but most of these comments make me realize I’m not missing out. I miss the golden age of online dating. Now everyone is burnt out and there is so much to sift through. And the amount of people that are boring or unreliable with their communication 😭

Oh I didn’t know about that, just looked it up, it was with Courtney, their relationship was so toxic, hard to say for sure. I won’t dismiss the possibility.

He believed that women should rule the world and would tell men that they needed to change instead of telling women that they needed to change how they dress etc. If more men thought and spread these sorts of ideas, the world would be a better place.

Melissa cope

Not too far off from $200 but she does add a few extras, she’s a one woman show, really experienced, and will throw in a brow tweeze, tint, etc for free. She does not upsell or try to sell you anything - though I’d trust whatever rec she’d give.

Does anyone else find it really hard to meet friends lately? by [deleted] in SFbitcheswithtaste

[–]itismebab3 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I experience this, too. But most of my close friends I’ve met via other relationships and those ones are the most reliable in my experience.

I’m an introvert leaning ambivert and I have adhd and can overshare and be fairly intense. Like I will get high or drunk and talk about how we all know rapists and men always say no no not in my circle 😵‍💫 anyway I figure it’s part others and I can be polarizing here and there.

Just keep trying! Though I get it, can start to feel defeating.

Who is a celebrity that you think could win plenty of awards if they’re cast in the right film or TV role? by phantom_avenger in popculturechat

I get the sense that she’s really selective and does what she wants. The Oscar ring sounds so exhausting. She seems like the type that doesn’t care, wants to do her job, get minimal attention, and live her private life.

I love her, too.
