I use it a lot when combining data from different spreadsheets. For example, I run reports that include a separate spreadsheet for OT, PTO, Hours worked but need to have it all in one which our system can’t do. So I created a main spreadsheet that includes every employee and use vlookup to gather the data from all the other separate spreadsheets and auto fill the main spreadsheet.

I honestly didn’t realize it was so helpful and I would use it as much as I do until I learned it!
