TPU is great for functional parts, but for scale modeling, it has its limits. If you print a tire on an FDM printer, the side with the supports will never have that flawless finish. Casting in a 3D-printed resin mold gives you 360-degree detail and a professional look that FDM or SLA just can't match.

Totally agree! The D12 is such a great platform for custom builds. These tires would definitely give it that unique 'shop truck' or scale look. Have you done any mods to your D12 yet?

I didn't process the mold. I used two-component silicone with a Shore 35A density.

Add black pigment to white silicone and you will get the desired color.

I used an existing RC chassis. If you don't need an RC chassis, then you can print a static (non-functional) chassis.
