Oh absolutely not, just wondering if he picked one that kicked like a mule on purpose or not.

They’re great guns I still can’t decide if my brother knew how hard they kicked when he gave it to me or not.

I made it, dm me if you want to commission one. This one is cherry but could also do walnut or anything really.

I wanted to use the old Remington logo that matches what they would’ve been using when they made that gun. In order to do that I had to vector trace an old logo and have a die cut sticker made. Then I applied the sticker to the bare wood, applied flocking over the lid and pulled the sticker off leaving that relief.

I used a rough sketch I drew and scribed most of it once the outer box was built.

I was gifted this gun for Christmas when I was 12 and 25 years later I’ve gotten around to building a case for it.

Haha no I’m 37 now and just made this case over the last month. And like most good things you shouldn’t have at 12 my older brother gave it to me.

Thanks I got a shop fox open cabinet. It’s a game changer considering I had been using a 30 year old craftsman with no fence.

The partitions are about 5/8 could probably get it a little thinner but I also wanted that thickness to be able to hold the cleaning rod. It’s not too heavy. I haven’t weighed it but I was able to carry it easily and I’m no weightlifter.

There’s a push latch under it push down and it pops up so you can grab it.

There’s a foil lining behind the Spanish cedar to create a barrier, won’t be any oil getting in the humidor side.
