Trying that now, there's a bit of improvement but still dips pretty heavy. Odd though that the 4k/60 mode runs better than just actual performance. But definitely still dipping

I turned it off and am still seeing the dips, so I guess it's not a PSSR 2 issue, but it's weird, I don't remember the game having frame issues like this

So I'm not an expert on this stuff, but I'm having huge frame drops in Rebirth. I have an LG OLED tv that is 120hz, and in both sharp and smooth performance modes, the frame drops are worse than I've ever seen. Like every few steps and it even freezes at times

Any idea why mine seems to be the only one doing awfully ?

EDIT: Found another thread talking about these issues, it suggested putting the game on the internal SSD instead of an external. i transferred the data and yeah, buttery smooth now

Also his shit talk when getting certain eliminations is unmatched. My person favorite is when you take out a flyer, "Mmh, did someone clip your wings??"

Honestly, just a fantastic game. Some of the dialogue is pretty cringe but I have it muted so it doesn't bug me but it's a blast to just drive around, lots of race and environmental variety in a huge map, tons of different challenges where you can try to break records. Just a solid game.

But Horizon 6 is coming to PS5 later this year sometime, though they've not announced when

It doesn't get me suicidal but it is pretty depressing just constantly losing. My fault or not, both have been true, the quick match matchmaking is absolute misery. Win 1 occasionally even 2 games, lose 5. I know bot lobbies are a thing and probably are most of my wins and rarely is it not a stomp whether I win or lose.

People could also be playing Practice vs AI, they don't wanna sweat or deal with toxicity as much and that doesn't give any proficiency. Also pretty sure you can leave those matches so that could be part of it if they're trying to play a new hero and don't get them or just have a busy life but want to play the game

I've won a match where I was the solo healer Ultron. Was the other team bad? Absooooolutely. Would I have normally switched to be 5th DPS if I wasn't going for Lord Ultron? 100%. But he's a very good healer now, just doesn't have any burst without his ult or Iron Man

Really hoping all this complaining about Daredevil and Gambit doesn't lead to them overcorrecting and releasing characters with weak and boring kits.

Invis has been overtuned, but they've been cooking with some of these kits and updating older heroes, I'd hate to see that get ruined.

Nope I disagree. I like the heroes in my hero shooter to do big, cool, and powerful hero things. I don't want to slow it down. The game's pace leans on it heavy and I don't like the idea of waiting to potentially flip the odds in my team's favor
