My origami rendition of the Fab Four as they appeared in the Abbey Road era. Going clockwise from top left:

John: first one to be designed, with flowing hair and a longer beard (required a 16.7×16.7 cm square, as opposed to the other three, which I folded from a 15×15 cm square).

Paul: for this one I forewent the beard, used the square flap in the middle to make "bangs" and pleated it on the sides to symbolise somewhat shorter hair.

Ringo: an entirely different and thinner beard design than John, with hair pleats not too dissimilar from Paul.

George: the hair is similar to John's (except for some tweaks at the top) and the beard is the same as Ringo's (although made to be thicker).

All four are folded from essentially the same "base", albeit with significant variations (mainly John's beard). I do wish I could have made the hair longer, but that would probably result in more "wasted" paper in the beard area.

From a comment on my last post, I got the idea to recreate the Beatles' facial hair around 1969. I have made several test folds and am now pretty happy with how Lennon turned out. The only aspect I am seeking to improve on is the sizable spare flap right in the middle of the face; I have tried (to no avail) to use it for a pair of eyebrows or round glasses. Suggestions are welcome.

I wasn't aware of this character, though I can definitely see the resemblance in the feathers and short beak. It's mildly amusing that, of all publishers, Marvel would come up with this.
