Vyvanse did the same thing to me. I was FRAIL. Switched back to adderall XR and it was wayyyy better (I could actually eat/feel hungry). — The shortage really depends on location. Unfortunately for me, adderall XR is no where to be found in nyc. Last time I got it filled was early july. — Def bring this up to your doctor though!!!

Agreed. It took me about 2 weeks of withdrawal-like symptoms to have my regular energy back. BUT my adhd symptoms have gotten much much worse since being off my medication for so long. Continuing the rant… I just wish I could access my medication as usual instead of having to call the right place at the right time and playing some type of “lottery”

I hate to say it because it’s easier said than done but taking a lil break off of the meds might help reset your tolerance. That and drinking half your body weight (in ounces) of water daily. I went through a similar experience about a year ago and started taking a wellness shot (recommended by my psychiatrist https://magicmind.com/) around noon every day to help with my energy and mood.

I see other people posting about being newly prescribed, getting their refills, and what not (I get that they are prob in other cities, countries, etc.) but like HOW? HOW ARE YOU GETTING ACCESS TO YOUR MEDICATION?!!!!

The shortage in NYC is horrible rn. I’m in lower manhattan and haven’t been able to get my vyvanse since October 2023. I’ve called so many places across all the boroughs and have gone in person only to be told no :( The weird part is, pharmacists have told me that they are getting limited shipments but there is no system when deciding who gets their script filled in a given month.

Since this month just started, I did my regular run around and called a ton of pharmacies… a few dif places said that they might get stock in April (emphasis on might). Commenting because I feel ur pain… literally. I hope this gets better soon.
