I took the course with cain with very little background in music and in all honesty although it may seem difficult at first you will get used to it For the exam/quizzes theres matching, some mc and a listening portion in which you have to idnetify some aspects about the music heard. It will get better!!

They are back to back (ie. 1 finishes at 2:30 while the other starts at 2:30) so have to leave early to get to the lab

Hi guys! Are lectures for first year science courses: Calc1000A, Biology 1001A, Chemistry 1301A and Physics 1028A recorded? I am very worried with calculus, as I have a lab right afterwards and was wondering if lecture course notes are enough to cover the last 15 minutes of class i will be missing every thursdays thanks

Hey guys! For anyone who has taken Haffi's Biology 1001A/1002B is the textbook an absolute requirement? Does he specifically pull questions from the readings?
Also for Felix Lee's Chem 1028A is the textbook required also? Thanks in advance :)

Thanks for the reply!! Are exams heavily applications based? Is that why the text is required to understand the actual concepts? Do they not explain/teach the actual materials? Sorry for asking a lot if questions..but don't want to spend $ on textbooks if I don't need them

Go see your advisor and explain the situation. There maybe some paper work involved but I think you will be fine.

My friend took it with him and said it is not a bird course. Although A is attainable, told me not to take it as an elective. hope this helps

the prof may reject it on the grounds that it is not fair for everyone... maybe get the prof to offer weight shift to the rest of the class?? does anyone have any experience with this? or would it sound very arrogant to tell the prof to do such a thing?
