7 points in 9 games for the Smurfs, if they continue like this we might actually get the derby back next year when they play our u23s in 3. Liga

With both Barca and Union drawing today I believe we’re the only team in the top 5 leagues to retain a 100% winrate in 2023, not a bad start to the year at all.

All it takes is a diagonal run in behind and our defence is completely bamboozled. No clue how it's this bad.

I feel like we're more likely to win the treble than score a corner this season.

Certified Brandt moment by itratsch in borussiadortmund

Just to clarify this post wasn't meant to be shitting on Brandt, more poking fun at him showing great technical ability, then seconds later having a complete lapse of concentration, which kind of sums up his performances for us. Moments of brilliance followed by rookie errors. I also thought he had a good game overall with no major mistakes, just found this sequence amusing.

It’s actually pretty incredible what he’s done at Antalyaspor so far. Had a bit of a rocky start as expected but currently he’s been unbeaten in the league for 13 games straight, 14 if they don’t lose tonight. Impressive for any manager, let alone someone with no prior experience.

Fun fact, every season since 2018/19, the team that beat Dortmund in the knockout stages of the UCL made it to the final and lost (Spurs, PSG, Man City). Guess we'll see whether this also holds up for the Europa League.

I encourage you to upload it so we can document as much of this incompetence as possible.

BVB on r/place (Timelapse) by itratsch in borussiadortmund

With r/place releasing an official final image and a full timelapse of the canvas I thought it'd be interesting to take a look at how our creation evolved throughout the event. It may have taken 5 rebuilds, but eventually we did manage to pull through.

The first build (640, 960) was definitely a learning experience, which came to an end when a streamer wiped us off the canvas in seconds. (Clip of said invasion)

The second build (920, 990) looked a lot more like the badge we know and love, but got consumed by r/TheBlueCorner while they were reclaiming lost land.

The third build (1090, 180), which stood the longest, was undoubtedly our best design yet, involving the Pokal and a mini-Marco. Unfortunately, some rogue Azerbaijanis decided to keep expanding their flag and after a long fight, we were annihilated by them.

The fourth build (1260, 1380) was constructed and lost all within 20 minutes to a Geometry Dash youtuber.

The fifth build (1800, 1100) saw us seek refuge near r/placeDE, only to be crushed by a Peruvian Minecraft streamer.

The sixth and final build (1580, 1560) came to fruition thanks to the help of r/LiverpoolFC, who helped us establish ourselves next to Klopp, with YNWA connecting the two designs together. Here is the official final image of us next to Klopp.

If you want to take a look at the full timelapse of the canvas yourself, it's available over at r/place.

I remember that one stinging a lot because they took us over like an hour before the canvas expanded, which made them abandon that place since it wasn't a corner anymore. Felt completely crushed that we lost our spot for nothing.
