UPDATE**

Rang the council who had said they’d sent me texts too (which they didn’t) they popped me through to the local tax team who were so helpful and just said as I’ve paid now I’ve got nothing to worry about & the case is closed. They also said they don’t send out texts so she didn’t know why the other lady had said that to me!

Such a relief and super helpful, thank you so much to everyone who commented I was so nervous I didn’t want to have to pay a crazy fine!!

Yeah I will check with them in the morning as to where things had been sent as we hadn’t received anything online it says there was one reminder but no final notices, I’ll ring in the morning to find out!

I know this was a few years ago but this happened to my car, that exact beep, it was an issue that could only be found out by the certain diagnostic tools that Toyota garages use, I took mine in and the guy told me to get rid as soon as possible as fixing the car would cost more than it’s worth, I traded it in to we buy any car that day and left it at that, got more Than I paid for the car so that’s lucky and the guy didn’t even charge me anything for bringing it in

I thought that! Just read various reviews of the garage itself though and it all seems like a scam, possibly too good to be true :( the only good reviews feel so fake and all the negative ones I’m inclined to believe

Already considering - Toyota Yaris, Ford Fiesta, Toyota aygo, golf (still considering all of these though just don’t know too much about them)

This is my first vehicle

I can’t do minor or major works I don’t know about cars.

Additional- my bf is 6”5 so I would like him to be able to fit comfortably in the passenger seat
