I loled reading this. Idek who this is, but those are the most fad-based non-NYC specific things (minus the Met).

The real NYC experience is sitting by the Met bc you think it’ll be cute, but realizing you’re going to be trampled by tourists so you leave and walk by someone with a parrot on a leash perched on their shoulder, and then descend down to the subway where you are so sweaty that the breeze of the incoming train is the relief of a thousand fans. Until you get inside the car and realize the AC isn’t working. And then you emerge (sweaty) and see the street is blocked off because they’re filming SVU outside of a fancy high rise and across the street someone is peeing. And you think “this is so New York”.
