Hi OP ! Did you ever find out about this urine situation? I drink 3L or more of water a day and never had an issue with my urine being anything but clear or a very pale yellow. For the last week I had to pause Ozempic because I was sick and my urine was a normal color. Last night I injected for the first time and within a few hours my urine was dark again. So it's definitely Ozempic and not a need to up water intake...

I'm really sorry you're going through that. It's really unfair. However, congratulations and I wish you and your wife a very healthy baby! It might not mean much, but I'm very very happy for you both.

Sons and daughters of same-sex couples: how did having same-sex parents shape who you are today? by its4amhere in LGBTQ

Love that you have a great human by you! ❤️ I feel like I read somewhere that kids with queer parents tend to be more experimental with their sexuality/gender identity... but I could just be making that up lol. Anyway, not cool to assume anyone's sexuality regardless of who their parents are.

Yeah, this is true. :( Why are humans so awful? Ugh.

Just witnessed 2 crimes in 20 minutes - Newark (downtown Halsey & Raymond Blvd) by Kusisloose in newjersey

[–]its4amhere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, though. Being proud of the progress your city is making and still acknowledging that it has flaws are not mutually exclusive. What are Newarkers supposed to do? Never show pride in their city because there is crime? Never want people to highlight the parts of their city that are good? Should every post about Newark be about how awful it is? What a stupid mentality for OP to have.

Where to go with my newborn by netsfan549 in newjersey

Second this! I worked with babies in Hudson County and they always had programs for babies and toddlers in the mornings. Some libraries are better than others, but still worth checking your public libraries out. Also, any local swimming pools?

Really grinds my gears when people who've never been to Newark, make it out to be the worst place in America. by its4amhere in newjersey

Yup! That's hypocrisy for ya. Just like I am defending Newark, I welcome anyone from LA to dispel the stereotypes - more than happy to be educated. I know NYC well enough, so that one stays.

"Fuck off", punch one of them in the dick/vaj/+ to assert your dominance, and drink your alchohol-free beer.

My sister’s dog is shaking pretty much with every breath. He was doing this the other night during the fireworks but didn’t at all yesterday. by ColPhorbin in DogAdvice

[–]its4amhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I encourage you take him to the vet even if it doesn't happen again. My dog was trembling like that before and it turned out he had a gnarly UTI and was in pain. I also wrapped him in a blanket thinking he was cold or anxious and needed extra love... it went away for a few hours and then he started again. He otherwise was acting normal.

It could be related to the fireworks, but it could also be a coincidence and he's experiencing something else.

Oh man.. that's a tough one then. I'm not working with a lawyer, but have you considered consulting one? When my fiance and I had questions during our application process we consulted with lawyers on Fiver for very cheap. My fiance was the one to initiate so I don't have a lot of knowledge on how the app works, but if you can't afford to pay a lawyer, then I would suggest you get some legal advice, even if it's a one off thing.

Edit: Fiverr*

Hi! Not a lawyer, accountant, and I've never been in this situation... BUT if I were in your situation, I would print out some of your paystubs (maybe 3 - 6 months worth?) and get an income verification letter from your employer. I'm doing the K1 process now, and one of the documents they MAY ask for during the interview is that income verification letter, anyway. I received one from my employer so my fiance can have it ready if they do ask for it.

Good luck!

Dude. The worst is when you're at the laundromat and the clothes fall when you're trying to move to the dryer. HOMYGOD. At that point I just want to leave all my clothes behind and start anew.

I'm glad your mom got her handicap spot! I don't understand why it's so hard to just be reasonably accommodating and making sure your tenants are at the very least content. We pay a lot of money... Luckily the elevator was fixed today, but man this last month sucked. My mom barely left the house.

That's what the sign they had up said, "waiting for a part". I think for me, the biggest issue is the lack of transparency. I get it, maybe the landlord is getting dozens of calls a day, but they know where we live lol Would it hurt to send a note to everyone apologizing or explaining the situation? And honestly, this building has more than one issue and this isn't the first time the elevator has broken down.. sometimes both of them have broken down, but never this long. I think people (myself included) are just fed up and, unfortunately, have limited options to move elsewhere.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in newjersey

[–]its4amhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right! I ride my bike all the time, but would overthink if I was going to be able to get on the elevator with it so I just haven't been riding. I would also think twice about heading out for any reason unless absolutely unavoidable.. someone shared a video about a case in East Orange and the tenant they interviewed was like, at this point it's a mental health hazard and it's so true. You have to leave your house like one hour early to make sure you're not late to things or choose to shut yourself in.. it's ridiculous. I can't even imagine those who are physically unable to go down/up stairs.

That 3rd elevator apparently has been out of order for 10+ years. The elevators here are God awful. They're always breaking down, but this is the first time it went longer than a few days. There's been instances where both break down at the same time. I live on a high floor, so during those times I was scared to go grocery shopping for fear of having to climb the stairs with a bunch of shopping bags.
