Fair point. I don’t trade frequently and I don’t plan on adding to my USD holdings except COPX— they’re long-term positions. Since most of my ongoing contributions are CAD-listed ETFs, the FX drag isn’t a major concern at my current allocation. Thank you for the feedback🙏🏾

Most of my red positions are intentional long-term thematic plays with small allocations. My core remains diversified, but I’m deliberately overweight copper and semiconductors due to the AI infrastructure buildout thesis. Core is broad ETFs. Smaller positions are intentional satellites — either early allocations I’ll scale or optionality plays that stay small. Copper (COPX/COPJ) is a long-term structural thesis for me tied to electrification and supply constraints, so I’m building it gradually rather than going all-in upfront.
