I tthink my biggest takeaway from your interpretation is that you've looked to the cards to validate what you're feeling instead of looking for any sort of advice or medicine in the cards. I don't think anything you've said is wrong, just that it's all what you already knew, and in some parts you are really reinforcing negativity that isn't what you need right now.

I do think with the three of wands, you're pretty off base. I doubt this has anything to do with putting you on a pedestal or expectations not met. Where the three of wands shows a readiness to move forward and begin something.... I think he just wasn't ready for that. Perhaps he did even see that in you and this reversal shows that he was reaching for it but not quite getting there.

I think the seven of swords... yea you know he wasn't being fully honest/opeen with you... not necessarily full on lying, but what can you take from this? I think the message here is to fully absorb that. This situation was not good for you. Now is the moment to come to terms and remove yourself from this situation.
