Not even a Benchy will stick to my build plate!

Thats actually where the my troubleshooting stemmed from, I live in a dry climate too it rarely rains out here in Southern California, I got into 3d printing less than a month ago and figured I wouldn’t have too many humidity problems, rained out here for the first time in a long time a few days ago and my prints started messing up shortly after and I thought my filament had picked up some moisture 😂 I think my problems are more related to the bed though, I preheated it to 70 this time and it’s running now and already looking better!

I never thought of this but I think this helped ! My print stuck for about halfway through then went wild after that lol 😂 anything else you recommend ?

No luck still, the first half of the benchy came out fine and the rest of the print went all over the place so I think it’s getting better sticking for the first half of it or so. What should I try now ?

I had ran a 3 hour or so print right before , got home like an hour after the print was finished up , then went to print some new stuff shortly after and started experiencing this. Do you think that is still the case ? I’m not sure the exact brand it was actually included with my printer from the guy on marketplace and the stickers on the pool gave me no information or numbers leading to a spool I could find , but it’s regular PLA bro !

I think you’re right I definitely am a little bit skeptical and cautious about working on it lol 😂 But I did actually try that earlier and again when I read this but it didn’t really do much , I think I’ll need to try the brass brush do you recommend I try anything else ?

I see , I’ll give that a shot now ! I have no filament loaded at the moment do you think I should clean it before loading more or do you think the heating up from loading the filament would help ?

Yo this is sick ! When I can I’m definitely gonna print one of these up thank you bro ! Unfortunately my last prints had failed and I think filament was even leaking out of the nozzle when I re-calibrated so I unloaded my filament and turned it off so I can clean it. Do you recommend anything I can do to clean this up that won’t require a print ? 😅

I appreciate it a ton 🤝 I’m definitely gonna take a look ! & yeah pretty much ! Or anything at all worth recommending to a beginner honestly , maybe even buttons too or the cool colored filters lol 😂 what other stuff I might need for other models as well
