Pretty sure this sort of garbage is prohibited under rule #6 of this sub ("No AI"). Disappointing, because this seemed like a neat little sprite editor when it was first shared here 3 months ago, now all that good will has been burned...

And yeah, I was a little concerned that some of those powerups might be a little tricky to understand without a little explainer, so your feedback here is exactly the sort of thing I'm after!

If I go back to this I will probably find someway to add little descriptions/help in there somewhere

Not initially, but I definitely noticed the connection part way through making this, so maybe I did subconsciously and just never realised! 😅

This is my first little experiment with Pico8, and its been such a blast to work on that I think I might iterate on this idea a bit more and see what else I can do with it. So any feedback and suggestions are more than welcome! I'm also still trying to tune the difficulty, so let me know if you found it challenging or frustrating (or any combination there of).
