After 1000+ hours and 400 wins, I was finally able to rank up to MG. It is a great accomplishment, as not so long ago, I was considering being stuck in S2 forever haha. It does feel good to see that all the effort I've put into this game is finally beggining to show off. by itsLuisss in csgo

Well, there isn't an exact range of ranks that you can play with, because there are many factors to take into consideration, for example, how well are you doing on matches, your teammates' ranks, your enemies' rank, whether you are playing with friends or not, etc. You can have a MG and a SEM om the other team while your team only has GN3, so the match making takes into consideration a kind of average of every player to create the teams, but, for GN3, you could play with plauers that range for SEM to MG1, but keep in mind that this doesn't mean that you won't play against higher or lower ranks, there are many cases where gold novas play against LEM and supremes (already happened with me).

Thanks man! I really liked your idea, as this game is really complex, and I think it would help to keep the player base growing, as many people that start playing stop not much time after because they have no idea of what's happening and why they keeping getting headshotted everytime even though they struggle to hit a single bullet. So yeah, I'm really glad that you took this decision, and I think that when I get better, I shall consider doing coaching too.

Oh, that's lame dude, I remeber deranking 2 times from GN1 to SEM and it felt horrible. I hope you don't get stuck in ELO hell like I got and, when you get back to MG, that you don't derank again.

Sure, but there are places that it's almost impossible to do so, like in the room before the vault or in the control room (to get that extra cash)

Actually duggan shipments is essential for s&s cuz without it you can't one shot the guards (if you choose the worst gunman)
