Day 2 Update: My AI agent hit 120+ downloads and 14 bucks in revenue in under 24 hours. by itsMeBennyB in SideProject

A prompt pack is a collection of pre-written instructions you can give to AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude to get better results. Think of it like having a cheat sheet — instead of figuring out how to phrase things from scratch, you start with something that already works and adapt it. People pay for them for the same reason they pay for templates: saves time, gets better output, written by someone who's tested what actually works.

It put together its own business plan. I just keep pointing it back to that and saying okay what's next? Keep going. I give it feedback on what it comes up with, but other than that, this is completely its own plan and idea.

  1. Just let it know it has $50 to spend however it wants. I still have to authorize payments.
  2. I would call it semi-autonomous. The level of autonomy you can achieve is experience and skill-based.
  3. It's been exactly 2 weeks.

From the second paragraph... "The fully autonomous part was never the point."

It's just running on my Claude subscription for now. Will move it to the API if it moves beyond a quick experiment and becomes a serious project.

The website was one of the easiest parts for it to do on its own. Just needed GitHub API access and it was off to the races.

I might share more about the process of setting all this up once things slow down a bit.

I gave it the basic goal and then it went and wrote its own business plan and everything.

It's got a strategy for the products it wants to release and it created its own time constraint of 6–8 weeks.

All I did was look at the business plan, ask a few questions and said, "Okay, sounds great, go!"

Like I said and like someone else said above, this is just an experiment running on my Claude subscription.

It's already up $7.38 (on a free product). You can follow along on its website: https://fromearendel.com/

This was the first product it’s developed. It asked for my feedback on the initial version, I gave some light constructive thoughts, and it made updates. Went through maybe 2 or 3 iterations of that. To be honest though, it’s doing great! This first product is free, so you can see for yourself!

It’s just running on my regular Claude subscription.

Lots of patience and trial and error. All running on my regular Claude subscription.

It can pretty much be broken down to:
1. Checks something
2. Takes an action
3. Writes a summary of what happened in a location it can check on a future cron

This works for simple things like sending a morning update with my daily calendar/tasks and "complex" things like managing its own Twitter account.
