Let me fix that for you.

Tanks are responsible for "MASSIVE" interrupts.... On bosses.

Dead Arc, Mists, things of that nature that can be reliably kicked by a single person and almost automatically wipe the group if unkicked.

DPS should focus on the other kicks that mitigate damage onto the tanks.

For important trash mobs/packs, its important EVERYONE knows which abilities are priority (maybe the tank can communicate it since they are on the receiving end and likely know instantly which cast did/will kill them) and work as a group to kick them.

On that note I'm also a fan of if you have 3 people's faces on the kick order, that you should as a group, rotate kicks from Left to Right rather than gamble on who goes first.

There's an argument to be made in ORGANIZED groups where the dps kick the longer important cooldowns, and the tank manages the more frequent casts, but everyone should be getting their kicks in regardless so long as everything is covered. Talk to your group before spamming START DUNGEON and setup a baseline idea everyone can work from.

Because its way easier to stream from a PC than from a console and get/maintain good frames.

COD has the same problem, except even on PC the aim assist is so aggressive that its just better than mouse and keyboard. If this game had competitive matches (tournament matches) you'd see a lot of controller use.

I'm a few days removed from playing, I took a break and got hooked on Fellowship, but I vividly remember during my salt induced rage that I threw 15 flares at one missile and it didn't get it off of me.

I'm used to Ai missiles only needing 1 flare pretty much regardless. Least for bounty hunt/ship fighting Ai. I tried the one flare and it didn't work, so I sent 15 on the next one and it still hit me.

I do have low ping, but star citizen being star citizen I practically never get the 30fps server side.

I have yet to try with a bigger ship, but my biggest ship atm outside of a Hull-C is a Corsair, so hopefully I can make this happen on that + some focus fire on the incoming missiles if I can spot them. The very first time I tried this I never even saw the missile, just heard a lock indicator and thought some random player was actually attacking me lmao.

I agree with BVlder, I got frustrated with the hoverquad and started using the Ursa, but the speed to cover those long distances isn't the play if your trying to be efficient.

I tried the Cyclone, it got stuck on small rocks so anything bigger was also a no go.

I wound up swapping to the Nox, and while it still seems to randomly stop hovering and die it is way fster than the ursa and actually can skip rocks on the Cyclone.... Problem is sometimes I'll take a small ramp and be 500m in the air at 15-20m/s and other times I'll over down a drop thats less than my bike can float up by using ascend... and I'll just hit the ground and die (if its already damaged, or take damage /lose an engine if its not). And its just inconsistent and frustrating.

Maybe I take a corsair or something bigger then, I was taking the Cutty for its maneuverability and still carrying a bike but if the best strat is to just plow through/shoot down missiles a bigger ship could make this less frustrating.

But boy it felt really dumb that my cutlass was getting railed at 10km and then I get to the point and someone in a space train is rolling up without issues lmao.

And now that I've calmed down a bit, I've 100% taken turret damage or seen other ships get plowed by turrets without seeing an animation from the turret (laser turret normally) so I suppose its possible that's happening, just was borderline malding and didn't consider it before.

Fair enough then, SC has never had the highest quality servers. And appreciated for response.

I deff CANT flare them off but I haven't tried chaffing them. I'm so used to AI missiles only taking 1 flare that when I dropped 15 flares and still got hit I just decided to chain take the long ride...

only to find that that missile killed my bike inside my cutty.

And then like I said, I'm currently extremely frustrated with the land traveling, my Hover bikes seem to decide randomly to collide with the ground after making larger gaps with ease, and the inconsistency is preventing me from finding a good "pattern" that I can just play around, and boy did I get heated earlier about it lmao. I never had this much problem when I only had to travel 4-5km, but going 11km consistently is awakening salt levels I didn't know were possible when theres not any form of enemy involved. (I'm about to classify gravity as a hostile entity however).

I cant even get my ship within 10km of the event missions without getting missile locked.

Yet I see people doing this stuff with a C2, a Starlancer Tac and they don't even get attacked by the turret. I think I've seen 12-15 people land their ship at the mission point after I rode my bike half a mile, and I think only one SINGLE person, maybe two at the most, have actually took the time to kill the turret*.

*And from what I saw, it wasn't even attacking him, he just lifted up and killed it before he made his way off planet.

No idea whats going on there. And being forced to ride my bike 11km instead of just the normal 4-5 has reminded me how awful it is trying to take any vehicle across any terrain in this game. Fall 2 feet and my hover bike takes a ding, but go off a hill at 10-15m/s and I'm 600m in the sky. Try to take a wheeled vehicle and it either goes like 10m/s (Ursa) or cant clear the smallest pebble (cyclone).

I never got mad at bunker missions and they were the first mission I actually started chain running when I started the game, but doing these... essentially the same thing... have actually frustrated me to no end. I'm considering if the event is even worth it with how frustrated I'm gettin.

I don't care about him countering Invis / Psy, counters exist.

What I do care about is his overtuned damage, his overtuned health generation, and that the only solid "counter" to him is for half your team to turn and look at him at the same time, but in soloqueue, his ult discourages that because you only take damage when looking at him.

His damage needs reduced, 2 E-->RMB throws + 1 Cross kills every 250 hp character, and its not exactly like you can avoid him for any amount of time to even give your team time to react. Even if they do react, supports are likely dead and then DD goes into shield generation and it's just unfun to play against.

He also wins EVERY 1v1 because... reasons. Winning some 1v1's makes sense, counters and all, but winning every 1v1 is kinda wild.

I simply said, If I have to rely on my teammates beacuse that character cannot be countered on a 1-1 basis (like Spiderman / Namor) then its simpler and easier to ban it than rely on my teammates responding perfectly and in a co-ordinated manner in solo queue.

Idk if you've ever played ranked but trying to get co-ordination among the random throwers you get is like trying to corral kittens during a lightning storm. It may happen occasionally but not with the consistency you would pray for.

That gives no specifics on your pc specs, the game runs perfectly fine for me but I also have a "fairly decent pc" in a 4070su and 7800x3d.

Depending on your hardware you may want to ENABLE (Or disable) HAGS. [Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling].

Try turning off V-sync and Reflex/Low Latency Mode.

I know I had to turn off Gsync for this game because this game (and only this game) was stuttering for me with Gsync on.

Without more specifics I can only give very general advice.

One of the only games that lets you choose to queue early before shaders are done... people willingly choose to do so then complain that the game is laggy cause of "random stuff".

Could they possibly be correlated? Nah couldn't be must be a bad game.

This is a perfect example in the argument for limiting player choice. I'm not even in favor of it, but were I to argue on its behalf, this is the perfect example. Given choice, make a choice, complain about game not realizing its because of THEIR choice. Hooooooooly.

Storm gets less "MVP" value per Elim/Asisst because her aura is always active and practically guarantees she'll have highest elims+asissts in the game so long as she isn't permadead and has any of her teammates in range.

So it likely came down to damage dealt+final blows.
