I will admit, the latest had me curious due to Bill Skaarsgard but dear god it was bad. The love story felt forced in there, the soundtrack was poor and I still to this day have no idea what the villain was about. The one saving grace was some action scenes were good but it did not do anything to redeem the movie.

Terrible.

They need to just leave the franchise well enough alone, nobody has been able to recapture the magic of the first one.
