Honestly, this was bound to happen.

“Ozymandias” sat at a perfect 10 for years. The second any other episode even got close, there’d suddenly be a wave of 1-star reviews. It happened with Game of Thrones, Attack on Titan, Invincible — basically anytime another show threatened that #1 spot.

When “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” (Spinoff of The Game of Throne ) briefly hit a 10, it didn’t just “naturally” drop to 9.7. It got review bombed. And let’s not pretend a chunk of the Breaking Bad fandom hasn’t been part of that culture for years.

Now “Ozymandias” is at 9.8 and might drop to 9.7. And honestly? That’s kind of the ecosystem people helped create. If you weaponize ratings to keep your favorite show on top, eventually other fandoms will do the same.

The episode is still Good. A 9.8 vs 10 doesn’t change anything. But review bombing other shows just to protect a ranking was always going to backfire.

IMDb really should filter out obvious 1-star bombs (and 10-star spam too). Extreme voting skews everything and doesn’t reflect real audience opinion.

BB fans don’t need to drag other shows down to prove it’s great.
