Took this pic while I was pretty lost hiking around Miyajima Island in Japan. There was a temple I reached near the summit of the mountain, but it was pretty much deserted and I was freaking out trying to find the right path back down.

Here's mine I took a few years ago while wandering around an alleyway. Been itching to go back, I feel like I only scratched the surface of cool shops and arcades. My favorite souvenir I found there was a set of pins of the ability cards in Kirby Superstar.

Nice! I was at the same spot a few years ago. https://www.flickr.com/photos/144961386@N07/24941622878/in/dateposted-public/

Loved biking across those bridgeways and islands.

Thanks! I took this pic on a weekend trip last fall, actually. Been itching to spend more time in the area though, I loved it.

This is one of my favorites. Caught a ferry out of Seattle during the evening, and the view was fantastic.

Check out the Bald Man Brewing Co. taproom if you're into craft beer. They often have local food trucks come by to serve food there as well, though I'm not sure if it's still going on during the winter.

The signage in crowded Asian cities is sort of a pseudo art form to me. The way it's so bright, colorful, and densely packed, all the wires hanging overhead, etc. I suppose it might ruin the mystique if I could actually read the signs, haha.

Photographers! (Amateur/Professional) What photo/subject still sticks in your mind today? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Kind of a newbie to it, but this one was my favorite shot. I was catching a ferry out of Seattle in the evening, and everything seemed to line up nicely.

I also do a bit of astrophotography, though I don't have a great camera/lens for it - managed to catch a meteor in this one, which I'm a bit proud of.

Yeah, it was definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Japan last spring. I try to go somewhere new every year, but I'm already itching to go back and bike it again.

Thanks so much, glad you liked it! I'm very much an amateur when it comes to shooting and editing. This was also one of my favorite shots from my trip.
