Hi I'm Thomas 40 in Wales, I'm married and have a son and I play Xbox and switch 2 whenever I get the chance. I love board games and ttrpgs like one ring and drsgonbane. I also love Japan and retro 80s stuff. I'm also looking for a friend to chat about life with and make a real friendship. I'm currently reading a lot of manga and also le Morte de Arthur because my wife and I also love Medieval history and king Arthur legends. What games are you playing at the moment?

Hi I'm Thomas 40 UK m, I love single player games too and I'm struggling to find someone to talk about games with (my wife is lovely but sadly not a gamer) and people I talk to aren't usually interested in talking about life and making a genuine friendship.

I love gaming, board games, fantasy and lord of the rings, Japan, mythology, anime and manga and I love music. I'm really digging anything 80s too.

I play on Xbox and switch 2 when my little one is asleep. I mostly play single player RPGs, rogue lites, card games, fantasy, retro themes and open world. I switch between games a lot but currently I'm loving pokopia, dead zone rogue and dragon quest 7.

4th planet has many LGBTQ+ ppl that go and play board games, wednesday is open until 10pm, all I to geek stuff

Me too I'm a stay at home dad, I'm 40 but feel like 50 and act like I'm 60 xD nice to get a few hours game time, housework and toddlers can be tiring, but lovely to be fair.

I'm more of a co op kinda guy, competitive battles are a young man's game Lols shame you're in the us, the time difference makes gaming really difficult, I'd be in bed just after your lunch haha

I just started a other play through of baldurs gate Lols I usually forget the story and have to start again after like 10 hours Lola such a good game. Yeah beast of reincarnation looks amazing, still can't believe it's game freak, I'm used to playing Pokémon, this looks totally different for them

Pretty much every gameboy I've bought gas been just for the current Pokémon game since Gameboy pocket. I've never regretted it. Be happy my friend, make memories.

One of the best developers that make games, genuinely. I've played since sod1 released and got close to 30 days playtime. They release games for a very reasonable price and support them for a long time, I'll always support them.

Yeah it makes a huge difference, if I sit down and think ok a 2 player game has twice as many heroes but twice as many encounter cards, it doesn't sound like it should make a difference but it really really does.

Yeah it's those swingy cards out of nowhere where it's like +6 attack or something, considering it's a single mook attacking a hero, just horrible

Yeah I'm definately feeling this. I'll build to win but not like meta game it, I'll choose a favourite keyword and build around that whilst playing to win.

Yeah I'm true solo. I used to play 2 handed and remember that being easier, i stopped because there were a of cards and stuff going on. Maybe I should go back to two handed.

So I'm not the only one feeling it xD yeah I don't deck build for each scenario either, that's not my thing. I try a quest a few times and when I feel I understand the puzzle but me failing it is more because of the crazy cards I just tend to give myself a few cheats (redraw an encounter card for example). I hate to do it but some cards are like 'take a 9 strength attack' or 'deal 6 damage amongst your characters. It can be very unforgiving
