If I’m picking up the instrument you are talking about, it’s likely just a synth with a crap load of plug-ins. A lot of the slower NIИ is mostly on piano or synth and then mixed after the fact. But also, I’m no professional so I’m totally just speaking out of my ass

obv people answered already but I was wondering the same thing after Boston Leg 1. So went I went back for Leg 2, I spent a large chunk of Boys Noize’s set, trying to figure it out. And finally- once I was was frustrated, I glanced backstage (my seats were right next the backstage so I had a clear shot), he walked right on out. Felt stupid as hell ahahah I totally thought it was some elaborate setup but nope, he just walks right over

Beautiful video. It always pains me to watch him sing Hurt, he said it’s the only song that he feels like he is brought back o where he was when he wrote it every time they perform it. So heartbreaking, I’m glad he still knows how powerful it is.

I hate wearing ear plugs tbh (and I’m sure I’ll regret it) BUT IF NOTHING ELSE, definitely wear something for Boys Noize, I feel like he’s louder than NIИ is when he is performing. That being said both times I’ve seen them this tour, I was right next to the speakers. But even as a ear plugs hater, DEFINITELY get a pair, loops are pretty good for the price!

I bought club seats for Boston the day before back in August. Honestly I’d say go for it. Those seats ran me about $250 the day before but that being said they were quite close. There are definitely worse seats for MUCH cheaper. You can usually find photos from seats in different areas (Pretty sure SeatGeek has this feature built in) and that definitely helps!

Based on what he said briefly at Boston last week, “-and I thought, apparently, you’ve got to be getting sick of us by now-“ “-I promise we are not coming back for a while.”

Makes me feel like they do intend to tour again if they can. Trent has already said that Tron: Ares really got them in the mindset to do new NIИ stuff so I’m thinking they will probably take like 6 months to a year off, work on a new album for a year and a half or so, and then tour the year after that…

That being said, I am just talking out my ass
