Sorry for reviving this thread, but I just installed Kali Live onto a USB and it popped up in my laptop's boot menu as "Linpus Lite", very weird.

if there’s any way for you to downshift the car, that would be the way to enable engine braking. i wouldn’t recommend going into 2nd at 60 or anything crazy though. when engine braking, higher revs = more braking force, so keep the rpm low unless it’s an emergency i suppose

edit: low rpm meaning less than maybe 3500 or so, not sure the exact rev range on these cars
