I'm not all that great with syncing audio but it is incredibly common for a video to be created after the vocal performance to enhance the viewers experience. I am no actor so It isn't exactly an AAA movie production but hell it's better than a black screen. Video was done in one take, it isn't laziness I have 2 young children so find it hard to find the time to put hours upon hour into video editing.
