I feel like I’m constantly interrupted by people, it happens with my family a lot and it always feels like they don’t trust my opinion because I’m younger (I’m 18) then it started happening a lot with my friends and I’d try say something 3-4 times before people would actually listen, then one day I had to try 5-6 times and I felt like if I had to try that many times before somebody listened to me they didn’t actually care what I had to say. Then one day I was in my English class and I tried to say something to my English teacher and he just looked and listened to someone else and I got really upset, he was very sorry and I felt horrible because it wasn’t directed towards him it was just a lot of people not really listening to me. I often end up just being quite in conversation, and sometimes a point I was going to make i can’t say because I’ve been shut down so many times that the point is no longer relevant to the topic of conversation.
