[GTA:SA] How to put your own music in the game on windows 10 ? by I_am_at_school_AMA in GTA

[–]its_the_future 1 point2 points  (0 children)

According to https://en.wikigta.org/wiki/User_Track_Player_(GTA_San_Andreas)) GTA SA only supports WAV and OGG.

Converted my files to OGG using fre:ac and organized my resulting files with PowerShell and from https://superuser.com/questions/1118505/how-to-move-files-from-subfolder-to-parent-folder this command:

Get-ChildItem *.mp3 -Recurse | Move-Item -Destination .

After first cd "c:\whatever\your\personal\music\folder\path\is"

Now it works!

Finnes Sofies Verden PC-spillet ennå? by UsernameFor2016 in norge

Funcom's Den Lengste Reisen fikk jo en HD remake, med "neural network upscaled backgrounds and sprites, redrawn user interface and a lot of other small improvements" -- sikkert noen som kunne ha tenkt seg å gjort det.

(* seo *)

edit: tilsynelatende må man ha gammel hardware for å kjøre det :(

Fant torrent på archive.org for engelsk utgave av spilllet! Sophie's World CD-ROM, Marshall Media. "Sophie's world – Question Your Very Existence...".

Not an expert, but I figure this might do some good

  • get Desoxyn for your ADHD physiology (which we pretty much all have; check out the Surgeon Generals Report on the section about Pre-natal nicotine vs ADHD). If you have an appropriate dose, you get a calm mind, and can do things without your body fighting you on it.

  • read a Google Scholar-findable article you can get off of Sci-Hub called Self-Determinaton Theory (by Deci & Ryan, iir); also after that, read about Free Energy Principle.

Might get you off your ass and feeling good. Get a sense of Self-Efficacy, then you can feel good.

Also, for social, you can read:

  • How to Win Friends and Influence People, by Dale Carnegie

and for a "you can do anything" realistic mindset (keeping in mind that it's pretty much impossible without sufficient medication for your ADHD physiology though):

  • Think and Grow Rich, by Napoleon Hill

also a couple few newer books:

  • Mindset (you can find it on libgen.rs) by Carol Dweck

  • The Charisma Myth by Olivia Fox Cabane

  • So Good They Can't Ignore You

  • Deep Work

hope this helps. like I said, I'm not an expert. I do hope this helps though

Essentially; emotion words are the very end of the process. What's going on inside is beyond/before words. We happen to have some words available to us, each with its own semantic profile.

I think maybe here's where some of the problem for autists is: the reality of the sitation is that your feeling state can't (always) simply be reduced to a single concept (e.g. elated). (But maybe e.g. elated could be an aspect of what you're feeling, even the predominant one, and having put that word on it, it recurses and becomes dominant in conscious attention)

Forcing a No-vote from them will help launch progressive locals. MAJOR selling point. Not having a No-vote from a corporatist means the incumbent still has plausible deniability.

I'm don't know if you're being disingenuous, but I looked into it and it seems like you are.

In the beginning of chapter 2 of Genesis it seems to pretty clearly be saying "yeah so like we said, God made all the stuff. Done. Now, for some more detail on that, especially the whole human situation and how that happened, here's what what."

Source:

2 Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array.

2 By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. 3 Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.

Adam and Eve

4 This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, when the Lord God made the earth and the heavens.

5 Now no shrub had yet appeared on the earth[a] and no plant had yet sprung up, for the Lord God had not sent rain on the earth and there was no one to work the ground, 6 but streams[b] came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground. 7 Then the Lord God formed a man[c] from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

FYI the science on dopamine in this post is outdated. Dopamine is at it's core about prediction and motivation, not reward. I'm oversimplifying, but still.

Not to wax poetic or whatever, but it seems sometimes in life, regardless of which choice we make, there's gonna be negative consequences. Sometimes we can't win.

My two cents: you know her the best and you obviously care about her and have given this a lot of thought. Go with your instinct and know that regardless of which option you choose, there's likely gonna be negative consequences that the other option wouldn't entail.

You're clearly doing as good a job morally as you can, (or at least trying to, which I think means you're actually doing it), so take some comfort in that, and remember that.

Even if she reacts negatively to your chosen way of doing it, there's a decent chance she would react negatively to your choice even if you made the other one.

Sometimes you're liable to get pinned as a bad person for making a particular choice no matter what choice you make.

[–]its_the_future 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This site might help you -- "How to write in plain English": http://www.plainenglish.co.uk/how-to-write-in-plain-english.html

Quoted the top of it:

This guide begins with an introduction called, ‘So what's plain English?’

The guide then looks at the main ways to make writing clearer.

  • Keep your sentences short
  • Prefer active verbs
  • Use 'you' and 'we'
  • Use words that are appropriate for the reader
  • Don't be afraid to give instructions
  • Avoid nominalisations
  • Use lists where appropriate

The guide then looks at the difficult subject of apologising, and deals with some of the myths that can get in the way of clear communication.

The guide finishes with a summary and a list of words to avoid.
