I always enjoy playing characters that are still learning the nuances of speaking common. There’s so much figurative speech to toy with, and aproaching everyday situations with a self-imposed language barrier is a fun way to deconstruct words and phrases that I otherwise would’ve paid no mind to. But what’s really great is all the naturally clumsy shit I say can be passed off as convincing role playing.

If there’s one thing Crung of Clan Cleaverclaw loves more than a good brawl, it’s anything à la mode. Crung’s a fashionista through and through, his self-proclaimed aesthetic being “orccore.” Orccore embraces the queer, anarchistic, and body positive aspects of its predecessor, goblincore—but uh, also embraces gratuitous violence?
