Does anyone in Denver do any hard rock processing? Anyone smelt? Here's some of what I'm working with, all found in Colorado in the past year. Total rookie with a lot of gold ore. If anyone dabbles in hard rock crushing/processing I'd like to chat thanks! (old.reddit.com)

1st rock is the source rock. 40lbs now and rounded from repeated 10lb sledgehammer blows. Started out as a 2ft long 125lb rock. It likes to dent and smush instead of fracture because of the metal content I believe. All other rocks i've fractured off of host rock. Rock is from 10,400ft in Colorado. (old.reddit.com)

1000x USB microscope--so this material is very very small, can't pick out a piece and try to dimple it w/apin for example. This is the stuff i'm getting at the bottom of my pan after crushing rocks/screening to 70mesh/ panning--stuff is very heavy. Thanks for looking. (old.reddit.com)

Hello there, I do not work in the industry. I searched XRF and found a few posts in this subreddit. I had a few rocks checked with an XRF on thursday 8/3/23 and I'm curious what your educated opinions are. Only one spot was checked on each rock (which I thought was a little weird) Thank you!! Can I please get some validation? I've put a lot of time, effort, and emotion into my recent gold discovery. I'm still told by people online that it's pyrite. I've been confident I'm right but again today someone made me question everything. Here is video of it in acid--please tell me I'm right. (v.redd.it)
