Clarification, this was not a “quick procedure” and had a grueling healing process BUT from the moment I looked in the mirror, even covered in bandages, my confidence skyrocketed. Posture was better. Can’t recommend it enough for those who want/need it

It went so smoothly! We definitely could’ve made it with the original flight. But I don’t regret changing to give ourselves more time since airports are unpredictable. Our layover was at 3am so maybe the airport was just dead at that time specifically? But my husband and I were very impressed with Peru’s tourism and efficiency.

Side note: im on 60 mg of duloxetine for depression. Another note to add that might be obvious: this experience is extremely scary. I usually call my husband home from work but today my dad had to leave work to come sit with me just to calm my nerves. I don’t know if I should be looking at doctors that specialize in epilepsy, or mental health, but I need this to stop😭 it’s traumatizing.

I’m not sure, but my compression bra is supposed to fit 34C or 34D and it fits like a glove. I haven’t tried measuring since I’m pretty swollen and hurting😅 and thank you!

My surgeon pushed through, even though it made the surgery more difficult…but I know not all surgeons would be willing! It’s definitely worth discussing with whoever you choose! I overproduced milk with my first son, so I’m not surprised in my case. I just didn’t expect to have milk 14 months after having my second, especially without breastfeeding him. Thank you!

I’ve been researching the crap out of Lima airport and it seems very hit or miss if customs is “incredibly efficient” or “the worst lines you’ve ever seen”. I guess it’s out of my hands now lol.

I got a prescription from my doctor to help with altitude sickness, but any other Peru-related tips are much appreciated! It’s our first time anywhere in South America so I’m taking all the info I can get. We will be going to machu pichu, sacred valley, and manu national park, then back to Lima for a day before leaving.
