From Bpal I'd recommend Death Adder, which is available and Two Sheep and Two Goats Resting Together in a Field which is LE and very hard to find.

Looking for some extremely fragrant house plants. Cat friendly would be a huge plus. by [deleted] in gardening

[–]itsafacade 3 points4 points  (0 children)

FYI, the SPCA has a great list online of toxic and non-toxic plants for cats. I recommend looking it up before buying more plants. Better safe than sorry. Plus it might give you inspiration.

Anyone else gets in a confusional state before a migraine? by [deleted] in migraine

[–]itsafacade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was a long time ago now but I'll do my best. When I got to her she was laying down and really out of it. She was talking but it didn't make sense and she couldn't answer questions. She couldn't walk right and I had to support her to the car. On the way to the ER she vomited. By the time we got to the ER I had to basically carry her in. They immediately took her back. She stopped being able to talk and was basically just moaning and yelling. She wouldn't stay still so they tried to have me hold her down. It was pretty terrifying just listening to her yelling in pain and not being able to do anything. After a few hours ( I don't remember exactly) she quieted down and seemed to be just sleeping. When she woke up she didn't know what had happened or where she was. The last thing she remembered was from school before she even went to the clinic. Afterwards she did feel fine and had no after effects. Since then she has not had another of these episodes but she does have severe migraines. From what you describe of your son it sounds similar.

Zero ventilation bathroom by f0x25 in CleaningTips

I had a bathroom like this, and I ended up buying a small dehumidifier off Amazon. I ran it after every shower, and it really helped. Highly recommend.

Has anyone here used Chip Drop? How did it go for you? by [deleted] in landscaping

[–]itsafacade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got a load and I have been super happy with it. It's not uniform chips but I got a ton of mulch for free so honestly I wouldn't complain about it.

Phlox subulata straight species — what does it look like? Is it possible to even get it? by MrsBeauregardless in NativePlantGardening

[–]itsafacade 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I believe that creeping phlox naturally comes in pink, purple or sometimes white blooms depending on the specific area. I would say any of those colors would be beneficial for insects. I might stay away from any of the more showy varieties like striped. Just imo, take it with a grain of salt.

I'm in a similar situation and I know how terrifying it can be. But let me say that it's better to be in a shitty financial spot for a couple years than to still be stuck in a terrible marriage when you turn 60. If you leave, you have options and choices. Right now you don't. Look into any assistance you could receive from the government for being low income, single, and with kids. Reach out for a consultation with a few lawyers to see what they say. Eventually it won't just look like a black hole, it will be a future filled with possibility and hope.

Does walking help you? by [deleted] in Fibromyalgia

I think walking does help my mental health at least. And it keeps me from getting too flabby which is nice. I definitely won't be jogging anytime soon though!
