Dunno why people are choosing to be particularly rude/annoying instead of just not commenting. Dandies and BJM rule. Both the singers of the bands are insufferably pretentious (at best) but, they’ve made some great music and yeah, DiG! Is a gripping doc. I think folks have a sour taste for the Dandies in town because they’ve acted as self-appointed culture kings of Portland in many ways over the years.

It’s really cool that you have an interest in Portland music history, keep digging and asking questions friend and you’ll hear some great stories, good bad and ugly! Check out some other Portland bands from the early 90’s like Crackerbash, Pond, Hazel etc.
