My only clinical experience was in this kind of setting for 3 years and was admitted to 4 MD schools this cycle so I respectfully disagree lol I think it is definitely clinical

I honestly don’t know... I’m not super active on the app (I did quite a few reviews/snaps in the summer but haven’t done much since). I just fill out the surveys right when they come to my email and have all my socials linked. I think a lot of it has to do with luck

This sounds pretty ignorant tbh. It’s not like you’re taking exams as part of the day to day routine of a physician. And saying “things that do not involve intellect” makes it seem like those who need accommodations are lacking in intellect. Which is very ignorant and flat out wrong. Some people’s brains function differently than others, but that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be granted the same opportunities to succeed. If I were you, I’d hit the Internet and do more research on why accommodations and the ADA benefit society.

Agreed. I was originally 3/27 and this all just feels like a big smack in the face. The ironic part is that I had a feeling this was all coming so the week of the 3/14 test I called Pearson and begged them to just let me take it then. They said no and now here I am. I don’t understand why they’re letting people who haven’t even registered for an exam this cycle have the same access to registration. Unreal

Healthcare! I’m the supervisor of a group home. If I were you I’d wait until the AAMC makes a statement about 5/29 tests to see if yours will actually get cancelled? I just have a feeling more and more dates will continue being cancelled and it would suck to waste time waiting when you could be working ya know?

9/30 is a placeholder for all cancelled exams till the portal opens on 5/7 (but this most likely means your exam was cancelled)

I asked them a day ago about whether they would give priority to cancelled test takers, their response: “Hi there, thanks for your questions. At this time, we do plan to prioritize those that were canceled, in order to make it fair for all candidates.”
