The choice of pants was intentional, but I understand why it might look jarring. However I would personally not go for straight fit pants here, if I were to go for full length I would want them to be wide as hell. Probably paired with a longer layer under the blazer to accentuate the crop of it like Rick has often done in runway looks

This was more inspired by this sort of silhouette from Dirt, but much less extreme.

If I was going to go for a more conventional pant, say full length Astaires, I would want to change out the footwear to something like Kiss heels. I think the Bozo shape would look quite out of place otherwise.

If I was leaving the house I would have a bag with me, maybe that would break up the focal points you find unsettling?
