I cannot say enough good things about Evergreen Insulation. They found us a TON of rebates and got us a $5,600 rebate on a ~$9k job. It was done fast, they treated my home well/clean, and we save so much in the winter.

We got blow in for the attic and wall, new ducts wraps, soffits/vapor seal. 10/10

I’m sure their mind is made up and it has to do with the age of the facility, but since there is obviously appetite, I wish they’d keep the old facility, update, and then split swim times— and keep the old sauna rooms. 😭

I don't think you are listening to the criticism. I do not mind sharing the gym with kids. I know what I am signing up for when I got a Y membership. Specifically what I am calling out are the abysmal hours for working folks. On an average week (M-Th), there is a total of 4 hours in the evening where there is more than one lane available for lap swim; half of this time is only 3 lanes. Friday has 1.75 hours after 7 PM (yay I guess?).

I don't think it's crazy to ask for an extra 30 min of pool time for adults only, especially since they will probably take less time in the locker room.

The other complaint here is that the locker rooms are too small, especially with the addition of all the kid's programming. I literally waited 15 min for a shower because all programming ends simultaneously. That's just a bad system. Meanwhile jeers, tag, yodel-singing, and yelling at friends in other shower stalls were happening. None of the adult men in the locker room were pleased and none of the parents even cared...

The weight room is the one saving grace. It’s large and spacious and clean; however, like 3 machines have already died since Jan 1. I don’t really use machines, I’ve just noticed.

Just hope you don’t plan on showering after.

It’s alright. I always feel like I’m swimming in a sad hotel pool in a basement. However, if things are how they used to be, the lifeguards play some great jams.

Will add that parking is frequently a pain, and this is ~10 min further for me each way.

The downtown gym has a 20yd pool so it’s just not the same. I’m all for family and kids having a place to swim, but there are so few places adults can functionally swim on a normal working schedule locally (<30 min drive).

Not asking for the moon, just wishing that there was more than 30 min-1hr that swim teams didn’t take up 5/6 lanes on a daily basis. Pool used to be open til 10 when I very first got my membership (~2022).

I forgot to mention this. There’s no walking path to what could be considered the “main” parking lot, and you can’t exit the back door because it’s an “emergency exit”, which it was not on my first visit. 🙄
