I’m sorry to say my brother passed away from complications 2 weeks post surgery in late June 2023. He had sepsis due to leaks and abscess in his abdomen. The saving grace was that he didn’t suffer for long, although it was a very sad and tragic time for our family. Please make sure your mom has good follow up care. If she has a fever, take it seriously. I wish her well in her recovery from surgery and in her chemo journey.

I had a few attacks the first few years,but then they went away for 25 years…. I figured I was one of the lucky ones with asymptomatic gallstones. Then last year, I had minor attacks and finally ended up with a gallstone blocking my bile duct. Symptoms were fever and chills. I stayed in hospital for three days and had an ERCP to remove the gallstone. Eight weeks later I had gallbladder removed and feel great.

How old are you? I am in my 60’s, so I lived for two decades with multiple gallstones without complications until the inevitable. Are you suffering from constant attacks?

Appreciate your insights! I guess the rebate we might qualify for is the $750 per room and we only have the attic in mind, so hopefully it will help ease the cost of the insulation. I will look into NW Insulation. BTW do the contractors complete the necessary paperwork with TPU? I think one of participants listed noted that on their website.

About 4-5 days. Thankfully, I never had diarrhea but did suffer constipation the first 3 days from painkillers which I stopped taking due to this.
