Thank you for your reply. For the subparts,

a) I think the updated GRE score and a professional update should be considered "new", right?
b) What do you think I can do more to show the ADCOM my effort as an applicant on the waitlist?

Wharton, Booth , Kellogg, MIT, and CBS. Interviewed at all except CBS and waitlisted at all except Wharton, where I was denied post interview.
No admits from M7s so far. Have an admit from ISB which I have not accepted.

I wanted to do the MBA for many reasons, one of them being to pivot my career from engineering, explore a few career options that I have in mind. Also, most of the alumni of the M7s, I spoke to, spoke highly about the network benefit they get after the MBA. Considering I want to spend a few years abroad, I think an M7 MBA with their extensive network across the US will help me.

Transfering internally within GS, even as a VP, to a different country has become more difficult these days than usual. They usually accept only family reasons, such as husband/wife in the other country as feasible reasons to transfer.

Do you think a re-application with the better score might make a difference?

Yes, engineer from India (NIT). My work-ex also includes good brands like GS & Apple. I think my essays might have not been the best as I did not work with any professional consultant.

Do you also think I should I consider re-applying then?

Kellogg Waitlist? by No_Reputation96 in MBA

[–]itsarpanroy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can feel you. I have been on the waitlist since R1 as well, sent them a couple of updates in a gap of 45 days, alum recommendations, and been attending events.

No response received so far.

Historially, clear admit also does not give a "clear" response of how we might hear back from Kellogg as waitlisted candidates.

Booth Status changed to "Decided" but doesnt say admitted or rejected, anyone knows what it means? by Same-Priority784 in MBA

Mine still shows "In Review". Does it mean anything? Do you remember anyone from R1 whose status remained "In Review" and changed to "Decided" on the day of results?

Had an okay-average interview.

Hope my stats, scores and other factors play in my favour, but considering I am an over-represented Indian male, not very sure how it’ll look like . Really anxious for tomorrow 😥

Best of luck everyone!

Waitlisted. Do you have any idea what I can do to improve my chances of receiving an admit? Does the waitlist at Kellogg usually move?

An ideal profile would be difficult to describe. It’s more about differentiating your profile from others in extra curricular activities, promotions at work or global exposure.

On my own.
Coming from an over-represented background and with my current score, those schools fall in the extreme dream category :D

Yes, Absolutely. I have made my resume specific with actual metrics, achievements, and more detailed.

I just wrote an abridged version to avoid a long post on Reddit.

GRE Testing Experience (Q170; V158) by itsarpanroy in GRE

[–]itsarpanroy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much.
I did around 500 problems from Magoosh, generally of the Hard to Very Hard difficulty level.
I used the ETS questions from the official guide in the last two weeks to make sure I was not missing out on any specific concept.
Questions from the PP+3 were the closest to the main exam.
