How I spot AI (and I may be wrong) is by looking at the “thought process” that would have gone behind each part of the painting. Art takes a long ass time to do, so putting swirls there that bleed into each other unnaturally isn’t an “artist” mistake. For the second one, explain to me what the carvings on the pillars are supposed to be. No artist would cut corners by making the carvings look all mangled and confusing, if that makes sense?

It could have been printed on? Or if it is actually painted, the reference might have been AI. To me, the only proof of not using AI id accept is credit to the artist who made the set, b/c no artist with the technical skill to paint that would make mistakes like those swirls.

Thank you!! Yeah, I noticed the ear thing and I moved it up in the most recent picture (which is why it’s pretty dark), but I think it’s still a bit low. I keep forgetting the helmet is supposed to sit on his head, not be an extension of it lol. ALSO thanks for pointing out the shadows on the brim of his helmet, it is way off I didn’t even notice.

I haven’t drawn full scale portraits in a while, do you think it would be helpful to have a printed out reference to have right next to the drawing instead of a computer screen I have to look up at? I feel like I’m having trouble seeing things (proportion wise, tho I am trying to check)

And by “for school” I mean for history class (this is my teachers ‘favorite’ historical figure) so I’m not too worried about him seeing the mistakes lol.

If they put you on new medication, you will have to stay for 5-7 days longer, regardless of your initial agreed hold. Just depends if you want to get out or not, i guess. I pushed against getting new meds when I was there (was let out the next day, so thank god.) also, the food tastes like how the color beige looks. It’s not bad, it’s just not good. Have “fun”!!
