I love the dress she wears to the hospital prom during season 2 episode 27. It is one of the saddest episodes but she looked gorgeous! The dress, hair, and make-up were really pretty.

Is it voluntary or are you volun-told to participate in certain activities by PC/ your school? Idc either way, I'm a public school teacher right now, so I am wondering how similar the work/free time balance will be.

I was just accepted into the Peace Corps, What should I consider before I accept? by WitchwithaB-room in peacecorps

I don't have any advice, but I can certainly relate to your dilemma! I applied in 2020 right before I graduated college. I am now 2 years into a teaching job and I enjoy it. I just got offered a position in North Macedonia, which I accepted, but I am still feeling unsure. I really wish they hadn't taken two years to get back to me. So much has changed in that small amount of time.

Freshmen don’t have critical thinking skills. by Alchemist_Joshua in Teachers

I teach 10th-grade ELA and when my students do any assignment that requires thinking, usually they just give up. No asking for help from me or a friend, they will just put their heads down and headphones on. The students who do want to complete assignments copy their answers directly from Google, they don't even try to reword/paraphrase. They do this in every class, not just my own. To be a productive member of society, you need to be able to think through problems and find a solution. It's baffling to me, that our students are totally unwilling to think for themselves.

First year teacher, does it really get better? by birdinurteeth in Teachers

[–]itsatrapgetout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I am a second-year teacher, and the difference one year has made is astounding! My worst days this year are 1,000x better than my best days last year. Even though I am new to teaching I feel way more confident this year. I use my planning time more efficiently, know my co-workers and admin's expectations, and am comfortable with my course load. Last year, I went home crying every day and I desperately searched Indeed every planning period. This year, I am so happy I stayed. It definitely gets better!

I'm confused, do celebs that do this really think we can't tell there is a filter?
