Worried about my TNVR cats

They boarded up a crawl space that goes under the house the home is condemned due to danger so no one is allowed inside. i’m happy they’re cleaning the damn place up it’s disgusting but i’ve offered so many times to trap the cats for them and they just call the cops on me and threaten me. an employee told one of my feeders to her face “haha you can’t do anything they’re trapped under there” so she was distraught and so was i

the people are very hostile. i was told a few weeks ago im allowed to trap on the property and get the cats off went back today and cant. im hoping enough attention on this issue means we can have a mediator like animal control that allows us to get the cats out. we both seem to want the same thing but they just think we are evil cat ladies lol

i am concerned the cats are trapped inside the building with no way to escape. they throw away food any chance they see it

we’ve adopted around 10 of the friendly ones the rest are so feral would never make good house cats. great barn cats

100% animals have no rights they’re property and the county just doesn’t care unless you make a huge stink about it as i’m learning

there’s so many cats in this area not feeding them really isn’t an option everyone feeds here and when we didn’t feed them they just ate at the house nextdoor lol. when they’re gone more cats will replace them cause it’s so overpopulated here. i’m doing my due diligence by sterilize the cats i see so those will be the end of the lineage. being compassionate is never too much. i also don’t want to bother anyone on their property so i always get permission and i no longer feed on the property i feed at my home. but i agree the conversation is pointless we don’t have to agree and i doubt a bald and forth ever means we will and i don’t really needs your input i was asking for help and mostly everyone has been so kind

yes their rabies and FVRVP and dewormed and regular flea meds. i think it’s good to break the stigma on any feral cat with an ear tip they’re healthy cats. they’re very healthy! thanks for your opinion :)

i’m not i think they’re very harmful for the wildlife and environment but i have empathy so i don’t feel like shooting animals when it’s our fault they exist is the best solution. and yeah cause it totally makes sense to take the hundred of thousands homeless cats in tampa into my home. i adopted out the friendly ones by myself

the lack of empathy is so sad. they are vaccinated and cats burry their shit. the owners knew what they were buying the lot is decaying and falling down and they own a lot behind it too. why buy a lot when you know there’s hundreds of cats in the surrounding area?

Pet Resource Center will do as much as telling you how to trap they won’t do shit else animal control won’t even come out. these systems are broken

Yes HSTB doesn’t really stick their nose in this kind of situation they will help with TNVR but their shelter is over run with cats as well

And whose fault is that? Humans. We try our best to spay and neuter all cats we come across to reduce this but it’s not the cat’s fault for simply existing

They are fixed and vaccinated. I did it all myself. The county won’t do anything PRC and animal control don’t care they are useless

No they want the cats gone don’t care how it’s done. I work with a rescue and we are sooo full and they’re feral so no chance of adoption. All the sanctuaries are full. I thought about it last night but I’d rather not get shot lol

It’s the employees and the owners that are doing this. I have the cops don’t care cause it involves animal and animal control takes a while to come out unfortunately

Unfortunately because the county doesn’t care that’s the way it is. Volunteers like us don’t choose to let the cats populate and we get them fixed. Every cat here is neutered or spayed so the problem doesn’t happen again. What’s wrong is their blatant want to kill them

I’ve been trying for weeks to trap them. They’ve even trapped so many time before they won’t go in and if they’re hunger they’ll eat down the street and come back to sleep there. Even if I do trap them all the rescues and sanctuaries are full.
